Top Paying Hourly Careers

Hourly Careers w/Top Pay

There are a lot of things we look for in an hourly job: friendly coworkers, an easygoing boss, clean restrooms… But let’s face it: the main motive for your job search is the paycheck. If you’re looking for a higher paying full-time or part-time job, take a look at these positions that pay $10 per hour or more.

Healthcare jobs:

Healthcare jobs, such as home health aides, nursing aides and medical assistants, make between $10 and $15 an hour on average. Indeed.com has just added hundreds of new healthcare jobs to their site. Go see if they have local healthcare jobs in your area.

Driving and transportation jobs:

Pizza delivery and driving big rigs aren’t the only driving jobs out there. Truck drivers make between $14.50 and $18.60 an hour, on average, while bus drivers can earn between $13 and $17 an hour. We have driving jobs with KinderCare Learning Centers, WIS International and other great companies like:

Security jobs:

Jobs in Law Enforcement & Security make an average of $12.40 per hour, but experienced workers can earn more than that. Look for a security job with a well-known company like Securitas Security Services. If you have military or law enforcement experience, you could qualify to become an elite security officer or an instructor and make even more.
